This former bush camp has been completely rebuilt and renamed. It is now the largest luxury camp in the delta with 16 tents. All the tents are en-suite and have verandas overlooking the Boro river and Chief’s Island opposite.
It is accessible by air and a very short boat transfer. The alternative is by boat from Maun. The latter is a very nice way to arrive and a delightful introduction to the Okavango Delta.
The spectacular huge lodge area has the largest thatched roof in the delta. This is the dining area and bar. Behind it is a reasonably sized swimming pool.
This camp is ideal for groups. Many luxury camps in the delta have difficulty accommodating groups without considerable notice. Activities include mokoro, boats and walking. There are no game drives so it is best to combine a safari with another camp which offers this activity. Overnight camping on an island can be arranged. This is an ideal area for ornithologists. There are very few game sightings.
